Trump's coercion of European countries
In his latest tariff threats, the US President-elect has forced European countries to buy his country's oil and gas.
Mizan -
According to Reuters, Donald Trump said on Friday that the European Union must buy American oil and gas to make up for its huge deficit with the world's largest economy, otherwise it will face heavy tariffs.
He said in a post on the social media: "I told the European Union that they must make up for their huge deficit with the United States by buying our oil and gas in bulk, otherwise everything is a tariff."
The US President-elect has repeatedly threatened countries and continents around the world with heavy tariffs from his country.
Trump previously threatened the BRICS countries in a similar post on the social media that he would impose tariffs on them if they create an alternative to the dollar.
